Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi is a voluntary aided 3-16 Church in Wales school that serves the historic city of St Davids and surrounding areas. Based in the picturesque surroundings of the Pembrokeshire National Park, the school is a caring, inclusive and welcoming environment where pupils and staff are proud of the strong community ethos.
The school is looking to appoint a forward thinking and innovative practitioner who is passionate about the curriculum changes taking place currently within Wales and would like the opportunity to translate these ideas into practice. The governors are seeking an excellent classroom practitioner to teach Welsh across the new 3 to 16 school.
Applications are most welcome and encouraged from both primary and secondary trained teachers who are willing to teach up to GCSE level. The successful candidate will be part of a team of specialist teachers and a number of primary trained professionals.
Safeguarding and Child Protection are key priorities for Pembrokeshire's Education and Children's Service. We aim to support vulnerable children and young people to ensure they are as safe as they can possibly be. Our schools are committed to ensuring the safety and protection of all children and will take action to safeguard their well-being, and acknowledge that children have a right to protection. This is supported in the general ethos of all schools.
