You will work with highly skilled and committed colleagues who have built a thriving Food department. A reputation for strong teaching means that Food courses remain popular at GCSE. Students are taught Food Technology in a superbly equipped teaching area, centred in a recently built section of the school.
There is the possibility of a subject-leadership role for suitably experienced colleagues but applications are welcomed from teachers at all career stages.
Nunnery Wood High School is oversubscribed and enjoys an excellent reputation in the region. Our last Ofsted report praised the outstanding behaviour and courtesy of our students and the respect that they showed to staff. They judged students’ “personal development” too as outstanding. Our intake is broad, from the academically gifted to students requiring nurturing in numeracy and literacy.
