We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join us as a teacher of geography (with possibility to lead tourism).
The Bishop of Llandaff is an 11-18 co-educational Church-in-Wales High School. Located in the heart of Llandaff, the school is heavily oversubscribed and students attend from all over the city and in the surrounding authorities. Standards at the school are very high. In 2019, our students achieved oustanding GCSE and A level results in the reformed qualifications, key performance measures and new specifications. However, the school is more than just about examination outcomes. Students take part in a broad range of activities that help them become "well-rounded" and our strong Christian ethos helps shape our students to become positive role models in our society. It genuinely is a happy place to learn and work!
The role would suit a newly qualified person looking for their first post or someone with more experience
looking for a new challenge. The school is seeking to introduce Tourism as an applied qualification within the sixth form from September 2021. As a result, there is the possibility of offering a TLR3 (£2,000) to lead this to help recruit an exceptional candidate.
Please download our application pack for more details. For an informal and confidential conversation please contact Louise Evans, Head of Geography at the school. Also, we welcome potential applicants to come and see us in action. We are open to visitors every day!
*Salary equivalent to UPS3 & TLR3 (£2000 to lead tourism)
