Stanwell School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated teacher of Physical Education to join our successful team for a one year fixed term contract from September 2019. The post is for two days a week, Monday and Friday, (0.4). The post holder would be expected to teach all activity areas of the curriculum (netball, gymnastics, dance, OAA, athletics, baseball, tennis, badminton, football and hockey) with particular interest in netball, dance and football. They would be expected to support the School’s extra-curricular sporting activities.
The post would be suitable for either experienced teachers or NQTs looking to further develop their skills and knowledge in a supportive environment. The Department delivers physical education to KS3 and KS4 pupils with KS4 pupils given the option of studying WJEC full course GCSE Physical Education. KS5 students can chose to study A Level Physical Education or Level 3 BTEC Sport.
