Teacher of Health & Social Care (maternity)
0.64 FTE – until the return of the jobholder

We would like to appoint a teacher of Health & Social Care (maternity) to deliver the BTEC award to Key Stages 4 and 5. You will join a team who attain exceptional results because they are very supportive of each other, highly organised and knowledgeable in the BTEC suite of qualifications we deliver at Treviglas Academy. You will enjoy delivering Health and Social care and you may have experience of delivering other subject areas such as Travel and Tourism which we also deliver here. Our students are wonderful and they work hard in a calm learning environment.
The primary responsibility of all staff in Treviglas Academy is to ensure that each student enjoys their learning as they make rapid and sustained progress. The successful candidate will have the personal tenacity to ensure that the BTEC assessment plan is implemented within the classroom and that whole school policies are fully implemented and modelled. You must be flexible, imaginative, ambitious and a skilled professional, who is committed to raising the achievement of every student in the classroom. The successful candidate will be able to maintain and develop the systems and processes which will support students in their learning journey.
The successful applicant will be based at Treviglas Academy and will travel to other schools within the Trust, as required.
