Qualified Teacher of History
Salary: M1 – M6 (depending upon experience)
Required from 1st September 2020 – Secondary PhasA qualified and enthusiastic History Teacher is needed to join the Humanities Faculty from 1 September 2020 to teach History at Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Humanities Faculty covers 4 subject areas: Geography, History, RS and Citizenship. The Faculty is well resourced with access to excellent facilities. The quality of teaching and learning is high. There is strong distributed leadership and teamwork within the Faculty. Pupils make excellent progress at all levels. We teach the AQA specification for both History and Citizenship GCSE. Citizenship is taught as a discrete subject at KS4 only. It is taught within the PSHE curriculum at KS3 by form tutors.
We are as committed to staff well-being as to pupil wellbeing. Full time staff work four and half days a week, but paid for 5 days, the secondary phase closes at 12.30 every Friday for all staff and pupils. We place a great focus on staff development, at all levels with an extensive programme of professional development which offers a whole range of opportunities for colleagues’ development.
