The Governors at Ysgol Bae Baglan wish to appoint a Temporary Teacher of ICT to commencing October 2019 (Maternity Cover).
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a brand new, all through, 3-16 school that opened to pupils in September 2016. You will be part of a team of digital innovators who will play a key role in ensuring all our pupils reach their potential. You will teach across all school phases but predominantly at KS3 and 4.
Ysgol Bae Baglan places the use of innovation technology at the heart of our approach to pedagogy and you will need to be confident in the use of technology as a teaching and learning tool. All staff work with Microsoft Surface Pro 4 devices and use 365, sway and One note, amongst others, to impact on teaching and learning. Pupils learn using surface devices, iPads, PC’s and Macs as well as traditional methods.
The successful candidate will be able to teach GCSE WJEC Computer Science, BTEC ICT and general IT .
