Applications are welcome from newly qualified or experienced teachers to join the Modern Foreign Languages Faculty to teach either French or German to GCSE and A Level with preferably French/German to KS 3 or other language. Applications are invited from charismatic, enthusiastic and suitably qualified teachers for this exciting, rewarding and demanding post.
Part time or Full time applicants invited, please indicate your availability clearly on the application form.
Applicants should have a high regard for positive classroom management; the ability to work flexibly, with good humour and as part of a team would be essential. We would very much value the ability to contribute diverse teaching strategies. The ability to contribute to other co-curricular areas of BCCS life (eg Team Sports, Music, Drama, Equalities or other co-curricular activities to be agreed) will be desirable.
We are also looking for candidates who may also be able to contribute to the teaching of English or would be able to deliver intervention sessions to small groups or individuals in English. Interventions would be organised and supported by another member of staff with responsibility for that subject area and should be seen as an opportunity to build good relationships with some of our more vulnerable pupils.
