We are seeking a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher (0.6 FTE) to join our strong, supportive and well-resourced specialist learning area, from September 2019.
We are looking for a passionate languages teacher who can stimulate learners to step outside of their comfort zone, and maintain high levels of learning within a positive and fun language-learning environment. They should be able to form positive relationships with students and their parents/carers, to support them and gain their trust.
The successful candidate will be required to teach French or Spanish to KS4, with the ability to teach the second language to KS3.
This contract is temporary to cover the maternity leave of the substantive post-holders until March 2020, or post-holders return if earlier.
The post-holder will work at Winterbourne Academy and will benefit from the opportunities offered by a large and successful family of schools. The Olympus Academy Trust (OAT) is a partnership of schools, currently comprising of nine South Gloucestershire schools; one all-through, three secondary and five primary academies.
