We are looking for a truly outstanding Performing Arts teacher to fill a vacancy in our successful, innovative Performing Arts Department. The school occupies a new, state of the art building and is rapidly expanding in terms of pupil numbers. Although designated an 11 - 16 school, we share our new building with Cardiff & Vale College who provide Post 16 provision up to 19 yrs old. It is anticipated that in time we will deliver much of the ‘A’ Level provision taking place on site also.
We are at an exciting time with curriculum reform within the school and are therefore looking for a professional, who will be able to contribute to the curriculum and pedagogical principles of teaching but also play a full part in pupil wellbeing within the school.
The Performing Arts Department at Eastern High currently consists of 2 full time members of teaching staff who work collaboratively to deliver high quality teaching and learning to all pupils in state of the art facilities.

The successful candidate will have an opportunity to shape the teaching and learning experiences of our students and be a key part of implementing and refining the new curriculum; extra curricular activities and the wider development of Performing Arts within our community.
