At Pencoedtre High School, we are looking for a passionate Teacher of Science to deliver high quality lessons with preferably a Physics background. The school has achieved enviable results in Science in all key stages in recent years. Joining a large faculty of staff there will be lots of opportunity for career development within the faculty and elsewhere in the school.
Candidates will be expected to teach throughout the age and ability range. Results in Science compare favourably with local and national benchmarks. All three Sciences are taught at ‘A’ level and it is envisaged that the successful candidate would possess the potential to teach Physics at ‘A’ Level. Additionally we now offer Medical Science at KS5. A significant number of students continue their studies in Science based subjects onto Higher Education.
