Lecturer in Gas
Part-time role, 22.5 hours per week (0.6FTE)
Salary Range: £26,661 - £34,653 + market supplement* per annum pro rata
(Grade 3B – 4A, SCP 26 – 38)
* This post will attract a market supplement in addition to the above basic salary, reflective of such posts being hard to recruit to.

The successful applicant will join a team that plans, implements, and delivers Gas programmes to a range of learners on full time and apprenticeship programmes. This will be across the provision at Level 3.
Key tasks of the post will include to coordinate, design, deliver and develop a programme(s) of study up to Level 3 for groups of learners and to assess learners according to established guidelines, providing a positive learning experience.
You will possess at least a Level 3 qualification within the relevant vocational sector (gas) and a degree level qualification. You will possess assessor/verifier qualifications and Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English (A* - C), or a firm commitment to obtain the relevant qualifications within the first 12 months in post. You will have vocational experience within the Gas and plumbing sector, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to plan and prioritise.
