TEACHER OF SCIENCE
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed practitioner to join an experienced and successful department to teach Science across the full age and ability range.
This is a full-time, permanent contract with effect from 1 September 2019. The post is suitable for an NQT or a more experienced teacher.
The Science Department is committed to achieving the best results for every one of the students at Downend School. The staff in Science are supportive and friendly, regularly sharing good practice and delivering the best opportunities for students. In Science there is a culture of leaving no stone unturned when it comes to supporting our students to achieve their best. We all work together to make sure that we have the skills and resources we need to deliver the curriculum in an engaging and exciting way. The resources in Science have improved considerably in the past 12 months and we hope for further developments in the next 12 months which will further enhance the way we deliver Science at Downend School. This is an exciting time to join the Science Team.
