Salary: Outer London Main /Upper Pay Range
We are looking for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic full time Teacher of Science to join our over-subscribed school with a thriving Sixth Form. This post would be suitable for an experienced teacher or an NQT.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is committed to inspiring and motivating students through their innovative and engaging teaching with excellent support from a successful, hardworking and friendly Science department. Science is held in high regard at The Hollyfield School with a large proportion of our students taking Separate Science GCSE (with specialist teachers) and then progressing on to Science A levels.
Hollyfield is a beautiful school set in the Surbiton area of Surrey with excellent transport links to central London which enables our staff and young people to take full advantage of the wealth of opportunities that London provides. We are an ambitious school that puts student achievement and wellbeing at its heart.
We are part of the Every Child, Every Day Multi Academy Trust and in April 2016 we were judged by Ofsted to be ‘good’ -‘The provision for pupils’ personal development is outstanding.’ Since then we have worked hard to continue to develop our high standards.
For further details about the school visit our website. Please note we cannot accept CVs and our standard application form must be completed and returned.
The Governing and Trust Bodies are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our children and expect all staff to share this commitment. Any offer of employment will be subject to receipt of a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check. The schools within the Trust are committed to all aspects of personal development, are inclusive and seek to ensure every student achieves to the best of their ability.
