Contract type: Full Time
Start Date: January 2021
The Yorkshire and the Humber Co-operative Learning Trust (YHCLT) was formed in September 2016 and is now responsible for 9 schools across Hull, 2 secondary and 7 primary schools.
We are committed to ensure that all of our schools have access to high quality support services to underpin the excellent work our schools do in educating our pupils.
We are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher to join the Science Department at Kelvin Hall School starting in January 2021. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive school in continuing to drive outstanding Science outcomes for all of our students.
We are a very successful 11-16 mixed comprehensive school with approximately 1505 students on roll. We are a popular first choice of school for families in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire and are a very successful school academically.
Kelvin Hall School was awarded Teaching School status in 2017, now called the 'Northern Co-operative Teaching School Alliance'. This partnership offers tremendous opportunities for future leadership development for both newly trained and experienced teachers.
Kelvin Hall School will offer you:
- An inclusive, successful school and Outstanding Multi Academy Trust to work in.
- Friendly, motivated and enthusiastic students.
- A 21st Century building with ‘state of the art’ facilities.
- A comprehensive Development Programme aimed at both new and experienced teachers.
Our Science department for the fifth consecutive year has been our most successful faculty. Their GCSE outcomes remain outstanding and for the last four years our Science year 11 examination results consistently place us in the top 2% of schools nationally for Science outcomes at Grade 4 and Grade 5 plus. This would be a tremendous opportunity for any potential candidate to work in an outstanding and supportive faculty.
Closing date 21st October 2020 4pm
