We have an exciting opportunity for two talented, well-qualified and inspiring Teachers of Science to Join our school for September 2021. We are seeking candidates who demonstrate an enthusiasm for Science and a commitment to using excellent teaching and learning practices to motivate, engage and challenge pupils of all abilities and backgrounds.
One post will require the successful candidate to be the main Biology teacher at KS5 for students in Year 12/13. The second post will ideally require a Chemistry or Biology background up to GCSE level, but we wish to employ the best Science Teacher possible. There is potential for A Level teaching depending on the subject background of the successful candidate.
You will be joining a successful team who are passionate about engaging and inspiring our young people and we are looking to recruit two colleagues with both the commitment and the relevant skills/experience to help drive our raising standards agenda across the whole ability range. In order that you get the best understanding and flavour of hour our school and the Science faculty functions, we are inviting applicants to meet with the Headteacher and the Head of science at the school on Tuesday the 9th March at 4:00pm. This will provide us with the opportunity to give the context and direction of the school and the faculty while allowing you to ask questions prior to the application deadline and interview. This will not form part of the formal interview process and attendance will have no bearing on the appointments process; it is jest a way for you to see the school prior to applying, if you so wish.
