We are recruiting for a teacher of Spanish for Key Stages 3-5 and French to Key Stage 3

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong practitioner of MFL with a track record of strong student outcomes. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience of effective teaching and learning strategies, and a willingness to contribute to the whole staff team. Flexibility and the ability to innovate are desirable qualities, along with energy and capacity for hard work. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of what effective Teaching & Learning looks like for children of all abilities and be committed to enabling all students to access the curriculum in order to fulfil their academic potential.
Languages at Cleeve
Languages are highly valued at Cleeve and there is a keen interest by the Executive Head and Governing body to continue to increase student uptake of the EBacc and develop international links and events across the curriculum. Outcomes in MFL have significantly improved over the years and the department goes from strength to strength! The department has an extremely well-resourced subject area, with attractive teaching rooms, an excellent range of teaching resources, a great network with local schools and businesses and, crucially, outstanding Foreign Language Assistants to support.
