Scale Point 7 – Scale Point 10 (dependent on experience)
Part time: 20 hours per week (Three Days: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) and Full Time: 32.5 hours per week
39 weeks per year
The Russell School is an extremely popular and successful one-form entry primary school with a warm and caring ethos. We are looking for the right person to join our fantastic team in our new, state of the art building, co-located with Strathmore Special School.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching and Learning Assistant who is ready to make a difference to our children.
Our ideal candidate is ….
- experienced in working with children across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
- able to work with children with a range of additional needs
- able to manage the behaviours which often accompany such needs
- willing to learn a variety of strategies to address the learning and emotional needs of our children
- experienced in leading small groups and/ or whole class sessions
- willing to work closely with staff and professionals as part of our class and staff teams
- able to communicate well with all members of the school community
