Salary: TPAT Point 4 [£20,436 Full Time Equivalent / Actual Annual Salary : £14,066 per annum]
Helston Community College, part of Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, are looking for a highly motivated, skilled individual to join our fantastic team to support our students within the Mathematics Department. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have a passion for helping children to achieve their full potential in a team that values creativity, innovation and commitment, focusing on enabling children to learn well in engaging ways.
The successful applicant will have previous experience of working with children, ideally in a classroom environment and will have good educational qualifications, and be confident and competent at Mathematics. You will take a pro-active role in the support of the educational, social and physical needs of assigned students, and have good listening and communication skills, and the ability to work on your own initiative and within a team.
