Job Requirements: Thorpe C of E Primary School is looking for an experienced and passionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant. This is a temporary position working alongside a teacher to provide support for a child on a two to one basis for 23 hours and 20 mins per week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 08.50 to 13.15 and Wednesdays from 08.50 to 15.00, term time only commencing as soon as possible.

The right candidate will:
•have experience in working with children with special needs and in particular ASD
•nurture and support pupils’ emotional and developmental needs
• have high expectations for children’s behaviour
•be committed to supporting children’s learning
•be willing to undertake training if needed
•be adaptable, cheerful and willing to work as part of a team
