Teaching Assistant 31.25 hours per week (Fixed term contract for 2 years)
Hours of work - 8.30am – 3.15pm – Monday to Friday – term time (38.6 weeks p.a.)

The school is looking to recruit an experienced teaching assistant who is able to offer appropriate support for a child with behavioural difficulties. The contract is a fixed term of 2 years whilst the child is at the school. In addition there will be other general teaching assistant duties within the school day.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the child within their EHCP and also providing support to the class teacher. There is need for flexibility in working with both groups of children and individuals under the supervision of the class teacher.
You will need to be friendly and a team player with a positive attitude and able to demonstrate your initiative. The school is committed to staff training and development and further training is available for your own development.
The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the job description and will be subject to a health check, an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references. Previous employment references will be taken prior to short-listing.

Salary Range –
(Total pay for 31.25 hours per week/38.6 weeks p.a. - £16,517.26 - £16,869.93)
Surrey Pay 3: PS3.1 – PS3.3 for 16.25 hours per week/38.6 weeks p.a - £6,594.69 - £6947.36 (Full time equivalent - £17,316 - £18,242)
Surrey Pay 5: PS5.1 for 20 hours per week/38.6 weeks p.a. - £9,922.57
(Full time equivalent - £21,169)
