Springwood Primary is an inclusive and thriving school which provides a very good education for pupils between the ages of three and eleven. We welcome applications from calm, friendly, caring, hardworking and motivated professionals to join our successful team at Springwood- only the best is good enough for our young people and families. This is a permanent appointment, to start as soon as possible, but subject to pre-employment checks.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated, creative and highly motivated teaching assistant who will put the individual needs of all our children first while maintaining high expectations in standards and behaviour.
The successful candidate should have some experience of working with other staff and professionals, within a mainstream setting, implementing appropriate learning strategies and interventions. The successful candidate will have very good standards of numeracy and literacy and an understanding of child development across the Primary phase.
Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
