We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who has an interest in Cooking, as you will deliver our cookery curriculum as part of our exciting skills provision.
Horsell C of E Junior School is committed to the development of the whole child and our cookery provision is a key part of our school’s wider curriculum. Horsell Junior School is going through an exciting period of change under the leadership of a new headteacher and you will be part of a supportive, dynamic and friendly school team.
You will be expected to cook with small groups of children aged 7 – 11. The school has a fully-fitted kitchen for the children and the successful applicant will be responsible for this part of the school, liaising with parent volunteers and purchasing resources within a designated budget.
The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the job description and will be subject to a health check, an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references. Previous employment references will be taken prior to short-listing.
Hours of work: 4 afternoons per week.12.30 - 3.15pm

PS5 Pro Rata Salary:£5457
