Leodis Academies Trust is a successful Multi Academy Trust with five schools in the South Leeds area. As part of our continued growth we have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the team at Blackgates Primary Academy from January 2020.

As a Teaching Assistant you will provide supervision and support to pupils on an individual or group basis to enable them access to learning. You will offer general support to the teacher in the management of pupils, classroom activities and assistance in the provision of the wider school curriculum. The ideal candidate will be available 32.5 hours per week but 30 hours are also available.
Who are we looking for?
To succeed in the role you will have good literacy and numeracy skills, be able to organise your work and priorities effectively. The ability to communicate effectively with pupils, staff and parents, work to deadlines and remain calm in a busy environment are all essential for the post.
