Salary: Hay 10 (£12,996 – £14,067 per annum)
Hours: 28 hours, 45 minutes per week, 8.30am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday
This is a temporary post that will end when the funding ceases or the child leaves the school.
Little Stoke Primary School is looking to appoint an excellent Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 child with significant anxiety issues and attachment difficulties;
We need someone who will be calm and reassuring, be able to develop strong relationships and offer high quality emotional support.
The successful candidate will be resilient, remain optimistic and positive in challenging situations and be willing to find alternative strategies to break through barriers and negative behaviour patterns. Candidates will show good personal emotional literacy as well an ability to personalise learning when necessary in order to meet the child's needs, working effectively as part of a staff team and communicating well with parents. They will be able to implement learning plan targets effectively.
You will need:

•a level of creativity and independence when working
•a flexible and resourceful approach to your teaching
