Salary £19,650-£20,043 (£11,404-£11,632 pro rata) based on 25 hours per week.
We are looking to recruit a number of suitably skilled SEND Teaching Assistants (TA) to join our exciting school. The roles are to start in September 2022. We have a great mix of children, a strong and supportive staff team and we have a good reputation for the inclusion of children with special needs. We have a supportive parent and governing body. We were last judged ‘good’ by Ofsted.
We require skilled and committed people who can support teaching and learning and address the personal and individual needs of our pupils. You will be working 1:1 with our pupils as well as in the classroom. You will need to be a good communicator, cheerful, calm, resilient and able to work as part of a team and individually. Ideally, you will have a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification and have some experience of working in a primary school. The roles will require candidates that can make a difference: candidates that show initiative and can evidence the value that they bring to the classroom.
The hours of work will be 25 hours per week term time only, and the posts are offered on a temporary basis. The hours of work will be Mon-Fri 08:45-15:15 with a 60 - minute lunch break each day.
We are offering potential candidates the opportunity to visit the school. Please contact the school office if you wish to visit.
Interviews are planned to take place on either Thursday 7 or Friday 8 July 2022.
Further information about the school can be found by visiting the school website.
