Start date: 1st September 2020
Hours: 15 hours per week, term time only (Wednesday 12.30pm – 3.30pm, Thursday and Friday 8.50am – 3.30pm)
Salary: Hay 9 (£7,798 - £8,609 per annum)
Required to start 1st September 2020, we are looking for a warm and committed teaching assistant to join our dedicated and caring staff team.
The ideal candidate will:
o Be committed to learning, both for children and self
o Be flexible, hardworking and sensitive to children’s needs
o Possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
o Be pro-active and able to use own initiative
o Enjoy cake and sugary treats!
Applicants must have:
o A good standard of general education, to include literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to NVQ2 in English and Maths.
o NVQ3 for Teaching Assistants or other relevant qualification with practical experience of working with children,
o Previous experience of working with children in an educational context with evidence of relevant training in the appropriate age range or curriculum/learning area.
