We are looking to appoint a driven, dedicated and enthusiastic individual to work with us in the Access Centre.
As the successful candidate, you will have Special School experience within ASD. You will be able to achieve the best standards and outcomes for pupils by providing clear support opportunities. Visitors will be clear that you understand the needs of each and every child in your care.
As a person you will have a personal drive to succeed and be ambitious. You will also be determined to achieve the best for your pupils, colleagues, the school and yourself.
This post is a temporary contract with immediate effect until 03 October 2021, or the return of the post holder if earlier. The post is for 32.5 hours per week, term-time only including 5 INSET days, CSET 9 (£16,238 - £18,653 per annum).
Lyde Green Access Centre opened in September 2017. In the first year of operation we worked with 4 pupils, which then rose annually to a total of 12 Key Stage 1 children. This year we are extending our provision to provide early intervention education for an additional 4 pupils.
All children within our Access Centre have a primary diagnosis of ASD along with complex learning needs. Therefore the Access Centre will provide bespoke and expert provision to enable them to make progress. There are no expectations for our pupils to have any inclusion with the main school although we have this luxury should we feel it appropriate for individuals.
