The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant to support staff in providing an excellent education, strong supervision and quality care of the children at St Philip Evans Catholic Primary School.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be confident, reliable, flexible and should be able to work as part of a team.
The successful candidate will be expected to primarily work with a pupil returning to school following an operation. They will be expected to support pupil well-being and help to care for the pupils physical needs i.e. toileting and support mobility enabling thit pupil o fully access the curriculum. They will also be required to implement specific learning programmes, support class teachers to promote high standards. Candidates will also be expected to maintain records and liaise with parents

The successful candidate should be willing to promote the Catholic ethos of the school.
All Teaching Assistants must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) as School Learning Support Workers to comply with Education (Wales) Act 2014.
