Would you like to join us on our journey to become an outstanding school of first choice at the heart of our local community? Do you care enough to want to make a significant difference to the lives of our amazing students? This is an opportunity for you to become a valued member of our highly effective Additional needs team which is committed to in-class and individual support to promote the emotional, physical and educational development of students. There is also a requirement to undertake break duties.
This post would suit a graduate looking for experience in the educational sector or prior to starting a teacher training course. An A-level in English and/or Maths would be an advantage. You will be supporting students in class to be able to access tasks set by the teacher; by breaking down and repeating explanations where needed, by preparing relevant resources, questioning students to challenge them to think and by building confidence through praise.
