TEMPORARY MATERNITY COVER TEACHING ASSISTANT
TEMPORARY Grade 3 Teaching Assistant – Temporary Post
32.5 hours (39 weeks)
Grade 3, Scale Points 3-6 (£18,065 - £19,171 pro-rata)
Pro-Rata Term Time only
Required from 13th January 2021 (maternity cover will end on 31st December 2021 or when substantive postholder returns)
There are two temporary vacancies to commence ASAP – Grade 3 (SP3-6). The temporary maternity cover vacancy will commence in January 2021. The successful candidate will be required to work under the instruction of teaching/senior staff in the Foundation Phase for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom, including preparation and routine maintenance of resources/equipment and to support pupil progress to raise standards in literacy, numeracy and digital competency.

Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
