Salary: BG5 £18,933-£19,312 FTE. Actual Salary £14,478-£14,767
Hours: 32.5 Hours (5 days) per week, TTO plus inset days
Contract: Fixed term to 31st August 2021 (possibility of extension on review of funding)

We require an adaptable, experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated TA to provide 1:1 support to individual pupils as well as supporting the class teacher by working with groups.
What We Are Looking For
The candidate appointed should have excellent communication skills and be willing to work flexibly alongside a range of children and adults. The successful candidate will be committed, enthusiastic team player who is resilient, reflective and positive at all times. They should be empathetic, good at listening and able to respond to unexpressed needs. They would be willing to undertake further training in the area of trauma informed practice. Experience working with children with additional needs or vulnerabilities, and their families, would be beneficial.
Providing support for learning activities for children on an individual or group basis, under the general direction of the class teacher and line manager.
You should have:
Good communication and interpersonal skills;
Good organisational and time management skills;
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and others;
Experience of working with vulnerable children or those with SEND;
Ability to take responsibility and work with autonomy within set boundaries.
The ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users of the service and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
