KS2 Teaching Assistant
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teaching assistant to work in our wonderful school. Some experience would be preferable although not essential. The successful candidate will support children with their learning within the KS2 class during English and Maths. During other parts of the day they will be leading group interventions to support children further developing their skills. We are looking for someone who is able to communicate well, motivate and challenge children in their learning and be nurturing. The Roles and Responsibilities document provides more detail on our ideal candidate. The role involves working closely with a team including the class teacher, year lead and Assistant Head for Inclusion.
The working hours are:
Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.25pm
The ideal candidate needs to have a good level of spoken and written English and Maths.
We are a three form primary school with a very supportive team. Visits to the school are encouraged and can be arranged through contacting Jennie Trimmer, Assistant Head for Inclusion via the school office
