Salary: Hay 10 (£12,331 - £13,086 per annum)
Hours: 26 Hours per week, working pattern to be confirmed but to include 5 mornings starting at 8.30am

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team covering maternity leave. The role is 26 hours per week (specific work pattern to be advised), term time only. You will be highly organised, calm and confident in assisting areas of learning and social interactions. You will also have:
•Experience in working with children in upper KS2
•Good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
•The ability to use teachers plans to adapt and resource support for group needs
•The ability to be flexible and adapt with change
•A caring and inclusive ethos
•Experience of planning and leading booster/ intervention sessions for KS 2
•The ability to deliver quality lessons in agreement with class teacher
•High expectations of every pupil both academically and in their behaviour
•Understanding of group dynamics to promote group effectiveness and support group and individual performance
•The ability to observe and assess children’s learning and development and to identify next steps
You will also:
•Use praise, commentary and assistance to encourage pupils to concentrate and stay on task
•Consistently and effectively implements agreed behaviour management strategies
•Contribute to the assessment, planning and delivery of lessons and intervention in collaboration with the appropriate
•Have a good sense of humour
•Be supportive of colleagues and the school’s priorities
