We require a Grade 3 Teaching Assistant to join our school.
We are a vibrant and exciting city-centre Church in Wales school, enjoying excellent relationships with children, parents, carers and the wider community.
Applicants should be friendly, be able to work as part of a team, be able to establish genuine relationships with children and their families, have experience of supporting children’s learning through play, be comfortable following children’s interests and most importantly enjoy working with children. Good standards of numeracy, literacy, and IT skills are needed as well as an understanding of child development.
Applicants should also be committed to supporting and stimulating children to learn through play, and through hands on experiences both inside and outside. Applicants should be able to communicate effectively and sensitively with parents and other professionals. Applicants should be sensitive to, and supportive of, the Christian ethos of the school.
Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
