Hours: 30 hours per week (8.45 am – 3.15 pm - Monday – Friday) + 30 minute lunch shift

Salary / Grade: Grade 3 SCP 5 - £18, 795 p a. pro rata

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and adaptable teaching assistant to join our supportive and experienced team. The successful candidate will initially support the Key Stage 1 team and work closely with the SENCO and class teacher to provide appropriate levels of support to a child with additional needs, alongside general classroom support. There will be lots of opportunities for further developing skills and understanding in supporting children with a range of needs.
This role is a fixed term appointment linking to high needs funding, initially to support a child with additional needs and general support in Key Stage 1, until the end of August 2022, or reviewed due to changes in funding with the possibility of extending beyond.
