Newbridge Primary School is a large primary school on the outskirts of Bath with approx. 410 pupils on roll. From September, a Teaching Assistant is required to support a child with an Education Health Care Plan in Year 5.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be experienced in supporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs and/or social communication difficulties
- Experienced in supporting a pupil with SEND
- Be able to attune to a child’s needs
- Have knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Be ambitious for every child
- Have resilience and energy
- Be an excellent team player
- Awareness of supporting sensory needs
This is a temporary contract which will cease when this funding ends or when the child leaves the school.
This post is for 13.5 hours per week and the hours currently required are:
Monday 8.45am -12.00pm
Tuesday 8.45am -12.00pm
This post will involve some afternoon hours. The precise hours will be agreed with the successful candidate.
