The Governing Body of Bishop Childs Church in Wales Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly-motivated, hard-working, trustworthy and kind Teaching Assistant to support pupils’ learning across the school.
The successful candidate will:
• Have good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
• Be able to build good relationships with staff and pupils
• Have excellent organisational skills and be able to work from classroom planning
• Have high expectations of all pupils
• Be able to manage groups of children effectively
• Be able to support pupils with special educational needs
• Be flexible and creative
All school staff are required to demonstrate respect for the Christian ethos of the school and exercise discretion.
Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
