Age Range: 4 - 11 yrs
We are seeking to appoint two Teaching Assistants: one general Teaching Assistant and one Teaching Assistant to support a child with additional needs; both posts within Foundation Phase / Lower Key Stage 2. We are a vibrant and exciting Church in Wales School in Cathays, Cardiff enjoying excellent relationships with children, parents, carers and the wider community.
Applicants should be friendly, be able to work as part of a team, be able to establish genuine relationships with children and their families, have experience of supporting children’s learning and a passion for education. A good standard of numeracy and literacy and an understanding of child development is also required.
Applicants should be sensitive to, and supportive of, the Christian ethos of the school.

Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
