We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 2. Working closely with and supported by the class teacher and an experienced Inclusion Leader/SENDCo, your role will provide additional academic and emotional support for a pupil. The work may include a mixture of one to one and paired or small group work, both in and out of the classroom setting and lunchtime supervision.
For this post, applicants must demonstrate a positive, patient and nurturing approach towards children, be confident, willing to work one to one and deal with challenging situations. This position would be ideal for someone looking to work in special needs as a Teaching Assistant.
The position is a fixed term, part-time post which will terminate no later than 21st July 2022. More information regarding this role will be discussed with any candidate interested in the position.

Salary Grade: The post will be paid at Surrey Pay Grade PS3 (full-time equivalent £18,013 to £18,957 per annum)
Actual Annual Salary (pro rata): £6,099 to £6,419 per annum
Hours: 14.17 hours per week for 39 weeks per year (term-time and 5 inset days)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 12:30pm to 3:20pm
Start date: 3rd September 2021
