Teaching Assistant Level 2’s required from January 2021
Hours: 33 Hours per week
(Term-Time Only 190 days + 5 training days)
Salary: Grade 4, SCP 5 – 7 £ 19,312 - £20,092 (Pro rota £14,731- £15,326)
We are looking to recruit 5 permanent Teaching Assistants, Level 2, to begin in January 2021, or as near to the start of the Spring term as possible. Successful applicants could be placed in any phase across the whole school (EYFS to Post 16), so will need to be flexible and able to work with children and vulnerable adults from ages 3 to 19 with a wide range of learning needs and abilities.
We are looking people who will:
Establish productive working relationships with pupils and students, act as role models and set high expectations.
Encourage learners to interact and work co-operatively with others and engage all pupils/students in learning activities designed to ensure progress is made at every level.
Deliver learning activities to pupils within agreed systems of supervision, adjusting activities according to pupil and student responses/needs.
Establish constructive relationships and communicate with other agencies/professionals, in liaison with the teacher, to support achievement and progress of pupils and students.
