Teaching Assistant (Level 3)
Pay Grade- TA level 6
Full time and fixed term for 1 year, from Monday 23rd August, 2021
We have a vacancy for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support one or more of our excellent class teachers and well behaved, enthusiastic pupils in either KS1 or KS2 from August, 2021. The successful candidate will work under the direction and supervision of a teacher to assist with teaching and learning and associated activities in accordance with school policies and procedures. This may include: assisting with planning, delivery and evaluation of learning activities; supporting in whole classes; and working with individuals and small groups of pupils. We are looking for a Level 3 qualification holder, who has experience of working in a busy school, and who would be able to cover class teachers in their absence, as required. This cover would be paid at Level 8.
We are dedicated to the continual professional development of all our staff. The successful candidate would undertake regular training relevant to their post.
