Northcott is a Specialist School for 128 pupils aged 5-16, whose primary learning difficulty is Speech, Language and Communication Needs. In addition, pupils may have associated social interaction, emotional and medical needs. Our pupils follow a largely academic curriculum covering the Primary and Secondary National Curriculum and accredited courses such as Entry Level, Functional Skills and GCSE where appropriate.
The school is seeking to appoint a full-time Level 4 Teaching Assistant . You will be involved in the planning, preparing and delivering of learning activities. You will be required to assess and monitor pupils' progress. Class sizes currently range from 10-12, but vary by banding, age and cohort.
The successful applicant will need to be organised and flexible in order to meet the operational needs of the school.
