Due to the rapid growth of the school an exciting opportunity has arisen at CWCHS as a Teaching Assistant.
Cardiff West Community High School is a vibrant, diverse and inclusive community school in the West of Cardiff. The school opened in September 2017 and we moved into an all-purpose new school site in April 2019.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic and dynamic teaching assistants to provide in-class support to identified students. You will be supporting students with a range of additional needs. We are an inclusive and supportive school and need committed staff to support all of our students.

Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement which brings pay rates up to £9.90 per hour (scp 1&2&3). This supplement will be reviewed in April 2023 and thereafter annually in April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement.
