Teaching Assistant (SEN) – Year 4
Start date: 1st September 2020
Hours: 10 hours per week, term time only (Monday to Thursday, 1pm – 3.30pm)
Salary: Hay 9 (£5,198 - £5,739 per annum)
This is a temporary post subject to funding that will end when the funding ceases or the child leaves the school.
We require a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide care and support for a child moving to Year 4 in September. This rewarding role will suit a SEN Teaching Assistant who has had experience of working with children with special needs on a 1:1 basis.
The successful candidate will be sensitive to the needs of this child who has developmental delay in language and communication skills, motor skills, self-help skills, play and learning. You will be able to work independently under the direction of the class teacher and Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator.
This is a temporary contract, dependent on funding and the child remaining at this school.
