We are looking to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant (SEN) to work in our busy school. The successful candidate will be someone who has recent experience of working with children with autism, sensory needs and SEMH issues. They will be someone who is calm, adaptable and responsive to need; as well as being proactive and a flexible team member. They will have excellent behaviour management strategies and be dependable, dedicated and resilient. The successful candidate will have experience of carrying out one-to-one and small group interventions including supporting social skills and sensory regulation. They will need to possess good verbal and written communication skills as they will be required to attend meetings and to report on pupil progress.

Hours: 12 hours per week- Wednesday to Friday 8.30-12.30 with potential to increase
Contract: Fixed term linked to specific EHCP
Salary: Scale Point 7 - 10. £22,995-£24,258 FTE. £6,525 - £6,886 actual
