We are looking to appoint 2 experienced, creative and dynamic Teaching Assistants to join our fantastic, and committed team.
We are a school family at Westbury, where each member is proud to play their part. Our vibrant school, set in large grounds, is a place where every individual is valued, nurtured and respected so that they can flourish and live life to the full; it is a great place to grow and learn. Following our positive Ofsted inspection in February 2020, when we were judged to be ‘good’, our journey to improve further continues. We have also been judged ‘Outstanding’ by SIAMS.
We see this as an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the educational provision for all our children. The posts will include some ad-hoc cover and one afternoon of PPA cover (appropriate uplift will be given to reflect additional duties). They are part-time roles (25.75 hours), working Monday to Friday (5 days per week).
• a happy, welcoming school family with a strong, positive and caring Christian ethos;
• amazing children who are enthusiastic and fully engaged in their learning;
• a professional and dedicated team, who are committed to our continual drive to improve.
We are seeking someone who:
• is passionate about teaching and learning and enabling all children to achieve success;
• is able to foster excellent relationships with children, parents and staff;
‘Education is not the filling of a bucket, but the lighting of a fire.’(Yeats)
If you want to help kindle the fire that gives our children the best start possible, then we look forward to hearing from you!
