The Governing Body is seeking to appoint suitably qualified, committed and enthusiastic teaching assistants to work as part of a dedicated inclusion team.
Post 1 - The role is to support a child in the Foundation Phase with additional learning needs (social and communication).
Post 2 - The role is to support a child in Key Stage 2 with additional learning needs (social and communication).
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to establish good working relationships with children, staff and parents. Good standards of literacy and numeracy are essential, as is a very strong commitment to inclusion and a clear commitment and desire to work with pupils with additional learning needs. An understanding of the needs of children with ASD would be an advantage in this role.
St. Cadoc’s is a Catholic school and all staff are expected to be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school and sign a Catholic Education Service (CES) contract.

Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
