Teaching Assistant required to join our professional and friendly team at The Grange Infant School. The post is offered at Surrey Pay 3 £18,013 to £18,957 (full time equivalent). Actual pay £2,559 to £2,693 for 6 hours per week, £12,796 to £14,177 for 30 hours per week.
We wish to appoint well motivated individuals to join our Support Staff Team in the role of Teaching Assistant. Experience within the Infant age group (age 4 to 7) including supporting children with additional needs and the ability to follow SEND Support Arrangements would be an advantage although not essential.
Duties will also involve supporting teachers by assisting in classroom learning activities, organising and maintaining the learning environment and working as part of a team to ensure the well-being, behaviour and personal development of all pupils.
The successful candidate will be required to work with a range of pupils both in group settings and one-to-one. We would expect candidates to be able to interact in a patient and friendly manner, to support children to work independently and to encourage children to integrate socially with other children and adults.
