Governors wish to appoint an excellent and highly dedicated Temporary Teaching Assistant Level 2 at Maesmarchog Primary School. The post is to commence on the 1st November 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter. The main role of the post is to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with autism within the Learning Support Centre situated at the school and would last until July 22nd 2022 or a staffing review, whichever is sooner.
This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to work with a pupil in our Learning Support Centre for pupils who have autism. You would be joining a small primary school which serves our community, with a friendly and welcoming team of staff. You will need to demonstrate an enthusiasm and commitment to working with young people and ideally would have prior experience of working with pupils with ALN and with autism in particular. .
You will also need to be adaptable, flexible and enjoy a challenge.
The post is for 30 hours per week term time only.
The successful candidate must be qualified to at least NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
